RESTRAINING TYPE VIBRATION-DAMPER

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a restraining type vibration-damper exhibiting high vibration-damping properties and realizing simultaneously both easy processability and inexpensive cost by forming successively a polymer viscoelastic layer and a rigid coating layer with a rigidity being smaller than that of a rigid body and larger than that of the polymer viscoelastic layer on one face of the rigid body. CONSTITUTION: A rigid coating layer is prepd. by forming a phenol resin layer 3a with a higher rigidity than that of a rubber layer 2a by means of coating on the surface of a rubber coat metal and hardening it by heat treatment. The rubber coat metal is a product with a total thickness of 0.52mm being generally used as an ordinary brake seam material and a product prepd. by coating the one face of a cold rolling steel sheet 1a with a thickness of 0.4mm with an NBR dissolved in a solvent with a thickness of 0.12mm and drying and vulcanizing it. In addition, the surface of the rubber layer 2a is coated with a soln.-like phenol resin, dried and cured in a heat-treating oven to form a resin layer with a thickness of 0.15mm to prepare a vibration damper.
