PURPOSE: To provide a tea supply device which can serve a testy tea by a method wherein a tea is extracted for a specified period of time by immersing tea leaves in hot water right after a boiling, and at the same time, the tea leaves are retracted from an extracting container after a specified period of time has passed to prevent the tea from becoming too strong. CONSTITUTION: For a tea supply device, when the boiling of water in a water storage tank 10 is detected by a thermistor 19, the power connection to a heater 11 is shut off by a heat-stopping means, based on the output of the thermistor 19, and at the same time, a vertically moving mechanism operates, and a strainer 16 with tea leaves therein descends and is immersed in the hot water right after the boiling, and stops. Then, after a period of time being suitable for the extraction of the tea component has passed, the vertically moving mechanism is operated again, based on the output from a timer, and the strainer is pulled out from the hot water, and the feeding of tea is performed by opening a switching valve 14. |
