USE OF CGRP ANTAGONIST IN MEDICAL TREATMENT OF ITCHING AND DYSESTHESIA OF EYE AND PALPEBRA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a pharmaceutical and dermatological composition hardly causing side effects such as atrophy, hardly providing a fear of drug dependence by the chronical use and useful for treatment of ocular and palpebral pruritus, pain and dysesthesia by using a calcitonin gene related peptide antagonist. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical and dermatological composition contains (A) an antagonist of a calcitonin gene related peptide(CGRP) (e.g. CGRP8-37 and anti-CGRP antibody), and optionally (B) activating agents such as proteins (hydrolyzates), amino acids, polyhydric alcohols and vitamins, cicatrization agents, anti-allergic agents, etc. Preferably, the using amount of the component A based on the total weight of the composition is 0.000001-10 wt.%, preferably 0.0001-5 wt.%.
