<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an aqueous dispersion of colored fine particles, useful for paint, water-based coating material, paper-coating agent, film-coating material, wiring tools and ink-recording material, etc., by using fine particles of polyester resin colored with a dye or the like and aspheric particles of a specific particle size as essential components. CONSTITUTION: This fine particle dispersion comprises, as essential components, (A) 1-40wt.%, preferably 10-30wt.% of fine particles mainly made of a polyester resin colored by a dye or pigment, preferably colored with a dye insoluble or hardly soluble in water but soluble in an organic solvent and (B) an aspheric particles having a weight-average particle diameter of 0.05-2.0μm, preferably not swelling in lower alcohols, alkylene glycols or alkanolamines, such as an ionomer resin of ethylene/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer with a sphericity of <=1.2.</p> |
