Complexing agent, in the form of granulate or agglomerate, consists of di-Na ethylenediaminetetraacetate dihydrate (I) with the particles (partly) covered in a paraffin with m.pt 35-80 pref. 40-70 degrees C. This prod is used in bleaching or washing agents contg. active O, the paraffin providing protection from inactivation before bleaching begins. The paraffin constitutes 15-60, pref. 20-55 wt.% of the prod and the degree of covering should be such that 50 wt.% of (I) passes into soln after 20 min in water at 20 degrees C. |
