PURPOSE: To provide a thermal recording material high in color forming sensitivity and excellent in light-resistant ground color. CONSTITUTION: In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal recording layer containing at least a colorless or light-colored dye precursor and a coupler allowing the dye precursor to develop a color at a time of heating is provided on a support and a protective layer is provided thereon, 3-n-dipentylamino-7-(m- trifluoromethylanilino) fluorane is added to the thermal recording layer as the dye precursor and a binder, a water-soluble ultraviolet absorber, a fluorescent dye and aluminum hydroxide are added to the protective layer. |
