The invention relates to a toy which includes a toy vehicle and a platform on which the toy vehicle is displaceable through manual manipulation of the platform and by the force of gravity acting on the toy vehicle. The toy vehicle has a body 12 within which at least one spherical rolling member 14 is located in a freely rotatable configuration, the rolling member projecting partially from the operative underside of the vehicle proximate the leading end of the vehicle. The spherical rolling member also is heavier than the body of the vehicle and thereby determines the orientation of the vehicle while being displaced by the force of gravity acting thereon on a tilted surface (54, Figure 3). |
