The infrared ray emissive ceramic molding body is formed by mixing an infrared ray emissive ceramic with a compound to be a carbon supply source. The carbon supply source may be at least one saccharoid selected from glucose and sugar. The mixed carbon supply source is in the 5-15 wt.% range of the infrared ray emissive ceramic.
