POWER-OF-TWO FIR FILTER

摘要

The method is for implementing FIR filter made to operate in high speed and simple to implement by expressing the coefficients of the filter with the sum and the difference of powers-of-two. The method is to reduce the length of each shifter by 2(L-1) in order to increase the processing speed in case of a shift register and to reduce the complexity of the hardware in case of a barrel shifter.
