PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of improving reliability by conducting ozone produced in an electrifying charger with air around a photoreceptor drum, discharging it to the outside of a device after absorbing and filtering it by means of a filter, and securing image distinctness by guaranteeing a sufficient cooling effect on a laser optical system unit. CONSTITUTION: The photoreceptor drum 50 is pivotally supported in a device main body 1, which is provided with the electrifying charger 59 electrifying the drum 50, the laser optical system unit 60 forming an image on the drum 50, an ozone treatment means M discharging the air around the charger 59 and ozone produced with electrifying action to the outside of the device main body, a passage for cooling 95 communicating with a discharge port 94 from an outside air introducing port 90 through the unit 60, and a ventilating fan 92 arranged in the passage 95, introducing outside air into the passage and blowing it off along the unit 60, and discharging it to the outside of the device main body through the discharge port after cooling is finished. |
