Variety of Petunia flower

This variety of Petunia is obtained as a cross between a plant of Petunia P105 and of Petunia P107. Both parent plants are produced as crosses between a wild variety and a Petunia from Brazil and both parents have a crimson red flower. The resulting plant is designated Suntory SP-R. The flowers have a horizontal orientation and have five distinct lobes. They appear from the end of March to the beginning of October in all temperate regions and the colour is a vibrant crimson red, with a yellow-green throat. The leaves are attached at a horizontal angle and have a deep yellow green colour. They have a length of 3.5 cm and a width of 1.5 cm. The stems have a length of 10 cm and a thickness of 1.5 mm.
