<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a wire harness protector which can be used as a cap at the time of wiring the wire harness. CONSTITUTION: A flexible board 11 has a central bending part 12 where the thickness is reduced gradually from the opposite ends in the longitudinal direction toward the center so that the board can be bent easily at the fulcrum, i.e., the thinnest central part. A connector stopping part 13 carried on the board 11 is fixed to a connector provided at the tip of a wire harness and the board 11 is secured to the wire harness W/H by winding a first tape 19. The bent part is then secured, together with the wire harness by winding a second tape 20 to provide a cap being fitted to the annular tip part of the wire harness. When the board is unbent by unwinding the second tape 20 after wiring the wire harness, the first tape 19 is not unwound and the board 11 is not removed from the wire harness but used as a protector therefor.</p> |
