PURPOSE: To constitute the diversity of an optional multiplicity by one antenna and one radio frequency respectively for transmission and reception by applying inter-code multiplexing by spread spectrum to a diversity branch. CONSTITUTION: Transmission data signals (an) are branched into plural and inputted to a modulator 102. Further, they are spread by respectively independent spreading codes by plural spread spectrum devices 103. By synthesizing them by a synthesizer 104, they are encoded and multiplexed. They are converted into the radio frequency of one wave by a transmitter 105, amplified and then, transmitted by a transmission antenna 106. On a reception side, since respective branches supply the delay ofττto extracted modulation waves on a transmission side, a delay difference is adjusted in a delay element 111. The correlation of the output of an AGC amplifier 115 and respective diversity branch signals is obtained in a correlation device 113 and multiplied in a complex multiplier 112 and the maximum ratio composition(MRC) of the diversity is added.
