PURPOSE: To provide a new basic connecting structure of an exciting terminal to a resistor for a planar heat generating body formed on a low-thermal expansion ceramic substrate and provide a structure of the planar heat generating body using it. CONSTITUTION: A resistor 2 for a heat generating body and an electrode 3 connected to it are formed on the surface of an insulating substrate 1 having the thermal expansion coefficient lower than 40×10<-7> / deg.C to form the planar heat generating body. A nonwaven fabric sheet 5 mainly formed with nickel metal wires of 10-100μm in diameter and the electrode 3 are sinter-connected by a mixture 4 of frit glass and at least one kind of conducting particles among silver, gold, silver palladium alloy, silver platinum alloy, and carbon, and the resistor 2 for the heat generating body is electrified through the nonwoven fabric sheet 5.
