PURPOSE: To prevent data from being stolen by permitting the access to a unit corresponding to an accepted password in a first correspondence relation and the access to a specific unit corresponding to a password other than the accepted password in a second correspondence relation at the time when the accepted password coincides with a stored password. CONSTITUTION: Passwords 1 to (n) correspond to independent areas 1704 to 1706 out of storage areas of a magnetic disk in 1:1. Areas 1704 to 1706 are sets of plural units each of which is a collectively stored information file. The user who knows the password can set an area 1707, which information read out of and write to are permitted to another user who knows one of the other passwords 2 to (n), in a part of the area 1704. For the purpose of preventing the wrong read of data, the user preliminarily determines and registers the upper limit or the number of set passwords and must input another set password. |
