PURPOSE: To provide a material which is effective as a magnetic shield against a wide range of magnetic field, from a geomagnetic field to a strong magnetic field, light in weight, excellent in handling properties, and low in cost. CONSTITUTION: When directional electromagnetic steel plates are laminated to serve as a magnetic shield material, the steel plates are so stacked up to make their <100> orientation cross each other at right angles, wherein a steel plate is limited in thickness, and magnetic shield material is composed of multilayered steel plates. By this setup, the magnetic shield material can be enhanced in substantial permeability and in performance. |
