HAMMER FOR PIANO AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To provide a hammer for pianos with which the yield of material is improved, a nimble piano touch and the good sound production in the treble are obtainable and there is no possibility of generating a harmful material at the time of a waste treatment and the method for easily producing such a hummer for the piano in a short time. CONSTITUTION: This hammer has hammer wood 2 which is composed of the wooden material and has a felt adhesive part 4 at one end and hammer felt 3 adhered to the felt adhesive part 4. The felt adhesive part 4 is composed of a plastically compressed and deformed part 5 formed by plastically compressing and deforming one end of the hammer wood 2. This process for production has a hammer wood forming stage for forming the hammer wood 2 having the felt adhesive part 4 plastically compressed and deformed at one end by plastically compressing and deforming a wooden bar material in a direction orthogonal with its longitudinal direction and a hammer felt adhering stage for adhering the hammer felt 3 to the felt adhesive part 4 of the hammer wood 2.
