PURPOSE: To provide a picture processor which can change a synthesis ratio of a private picture and a personal computer picture by setting a palette data and by which an easy-to-see picture can be obtained. CONSTITUTION: In the picture processor synthesizing the personal computer pictures of a symbol generated in a personal computer 2 and the like in the prescribed position of the private picture on the map and the like stored in the storage medium 1 of CD-ROM and the like in a synthesis part 3 and outputting it to a display part 4, the synthesis part consists of palette RAM 37a, palette RAM divides an address bus into two, inputs private picture data of the map to one and inputs personal computer picture data of the symbol and the like generated by the personal computer to the other. A palette setting part 38 is provided for palette RAM and a data output feature against an address on palette RAM is set. Thus, the synthesis ratio of the private picture and the personal computer picture is changed. |
