PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attain reliable monitoring of battery condition at lower cable cost by physically coupling a central data memory to one of the battery blocks and then connecting it to a serial data bus. SOLUTION: A central data memory 3 stores the data regarding a battery and is coupled with a measuring circuit module Mj via a connecting lead wire 4. The data stored is sent to a central data processing unit 5 via a serial data bus 1. Moreover, the individual battery blocks B1 to B18 are connected in serial and are connected to the central data processing unit 5 via a power cable 6. Consequently, when the battery is exchanged, the central data memory 3 and serial data bus 1 are wasted together with a traction battery B and it is only required to couple again the central data processing unit 5. As a result, data in the battery can be detected and generated easily at the lower cost. |
