PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device displaying a location of a personal handy phone system onto a display section of the personal handy phone system(PHS) without inquiring about a radio base station. CONSTITUTION: A personal handy phone system (PHS) is made up of plural radio base stations (CS1-CS3) and a personal handy phone system terminal(PS) as shown in figure (B). A radio base station sends a CS-ID number to notice information to recognize a base station. The personal handy phone system terminal(PS) is made up of a radio section 1, a voice section 2 converting a digital signal into a voice signal, a control section 3 controlling them, and a data processing section 4 receiving the CS-ID number received by the radio section 1 from the control section, processing the data, acquiring the location of the telephone terminal from a memory section 5 as position information and allowing a display section 6 to display position information. |
