PURPOSE: To realize highly accurate stabilization control by estimating the external reactance viewed from the high voltage bus in a power station to be controlled based on the voltage of the high voltage bus and the feeder current measured thereat and then delivering the results to a system stabilizer. CONSTITUTION: A state quantity detector 6 samples the voltage V of high voltage bus and the feeder current I of power supply detected at a power station 1 to be controlled at a constant period and produces effective and reactive powers P, Q of feeder lines 4a, 4b based on the inputted voltage V of high voltage bus and the feeder current I of power supply. The calculation is carried out at a constant period of 20ms, for example. The voltage V of high voltage bus and the reactive powers P, Q of the feeder lines 4a, 4b are delivered to an external reactance estimator 7. The external reactance estimator 7 calculates the external reactance when the main power system is viewed from the power station 1 to be controlled and delivers the results to a power system stabilizer. |
