PURPOSE: To provide, at low costs, a temperature detector, for cooking utensils, whose thermal responsiveness and high-temperature durability are excellent while components of high versatility are used. CONSTITUTION: In a temperature detector for cooking utensils, the lead-wire connection part of a glass-sealed thermistor 1 comprising one pair of lead wires 1d on the same axis is covered with a heat-resistant insulating paint 5, the lead wires 1d are inserted into, and passed through, a ceramic pipe 2 so as to sandwich the glass sealed part of the thermistor 1, the ceramic pipe is arranged on the lead wires, and the ceramic pipe 2 and the glass sealed part are brought into contact with a heat collecting plate 3. |
