PURPOSE: To easily retrieve image data in a short time. CONSTITUTION: A character string which represents the initial letters of patient names added to image data stored on a magnetic disk 2 and an icon for indicating the rearrangement of retrieval results in the order of the photography dates are displayed on a CRT 5 and an operator clicks the icon of an 'a' of the character string with a mouse as an input means 4. A retrieval means 3 retrieves image data to which information on patients having the initial letter 'a' is added from the magnetic disk 2 and then rearranges and displays the retrieved image data on the CRT 5 in the order of the photographed dates. |
