<p>PURPOSE: To recover interrupted processing by retrieving a virtual machine, to which a real processor turned to a fixed fault is allocated, selecting and allocating the normal real processor based on the relief attribute of this virtual machine. CONSTITUTION: Real processors 10 and 20 and an internal control processor 30 are connected through an internal bus 40 to a main storage device 50 and a storage area (HSA) 51 of a hardware and in order to recover the virtual machine interrupted by the fixed faults of the real computers 10 and 20, guest OS relief attributes 111, 121 and 131 expressing the importance of job at the virtual machine are set into control information 110-120 and 130 at respective guest OS 1-3 provided in a host OS storage area 100 inside the main storage device 50. Then, the virtual computer (guest), to which the real processor turned to the fixed fault is allocated, is retrieved and the normal real processor is selected and newly allocated based on the relief attributes applied to this virtual machine fo that virtual machine system can be relieved from the fixed fault of the real processor.</p> |
