<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to determine the time position of arbitrary period- signal/function simply without complicated mathematical operation by storing a value in a buffer by a specified method. SOLUTION: In the first step, a region 34, which is not located in the expansion/dispersion region of an intended signal 32, is searched This is the region, wherein small or no signal-value/detection is provided, and a zero position 35 is defined in the region. In the second step, a central position 36 is determined with the zero position 35 as the reference. That is to say, the position 36 is the position on the forward direction in a buffer 31, wherein the movement addition of the signal-value/detection in the buffer 31 is equal to the half of the total sum of all the signal-values/detections in the buffer 31. In the third and fourth steps, the accuracy is improved by forming the weighted mean with respect to the position 36 in the region corresponding to expected dispersion 33 of the signal. This value forms displacement/deviation with respect to the position 36. Therefore, the time position of the effective signal can be determined more accurately by adding this deviation to the position 36.</p> |
