PURPOSE: To provide a receptacle capable of preventing deterioration in connecting function caused by mounting work on a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A receptacle 1 for mounting on a printed circuit board has a connecting projections 2 to be inserted into the printed circuit board at one end of a box-shaped part 3 formed by bending a metal plate in a box shape, and has a tab inserting part comprising elastic tongue pieces 4 formed by setting a folding back part 3a folded back on the inside of the box-shaped part 3 at the other end, and the inserting direction of the connecting projection 2 into the printed circuit board is made same as the inserting direction of a tab. Projections 8 whose tip is more projected in the tab inserting direction than the folding back part 3a are formed. |
