PURPOSE: To constitute a liquid crystal display device using a light storing phosphor as a back light, to attain display recognition for a long time by its light emission and to save power. CONSTITUTION: When a liquid crystal panel 6 displaying photographing information, etc., is provided in an equipment 1 such as a camera, etc., a translucent carriage member 7 is arranged so as to cover the rear surface from at least partial edge part of the liquid crystal panel 6, and a phosphor layer 8 containing the light storing phosphor is provided on the rear surface side of the carriage member 7, and further, a reflection layers 9 is laminated on the rear surface side of the phosphor layer 8, and the light emission based on the light reserve of the phosphor layer 8 irradiates from the edge part of the liquid crystal panel 6, and the display is made recognizable. |
