<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the yellow developer superior in image density and small in fog and good in transparency in the case of developing an image on an OHP transparency and stable in chargeability by using the developer composed of a toner comprising a specified colorant, binder resin and charge controller, and a carrier having a specified coating layer. CONSTITUTION: The developer is composed of the toner containing the colorant, such as a chromatic dye or a pigment, and embodied by a C. I. Pigment Yellow 12 to be used in an amount of 1-10wt.% of the binder resin, and the binder resin embodied by a polyester resin having a softening point of 90-110 deg.C measured by the ring and ball method, and the charge controller embodied by a metal salt of a benzyl derivative represented by the formula in which M is a Li, Na, or K metal atom, and the carrier coated with a silicone resin or an acrylic resin obtained by dispersing a conductive powder into the resin.</p> |
