Apparatus for the manufacture of non-woven textiles by the known technique of displacement of fibres in a fibre layer in such a way that regions of greater and lesser fibres density result, comprising a support sieve carriage the fibre layer and means for directing a fluid stream onto this layer, whereby the support sieve is provided in addition with continuous non-permeable parts on its wires and apertures, covering the sieve and delimiting or surrounding the permeable regions and containing at least one crest with a torugh on each side, the sieve habing a coarseness such that the depth of the trough is at least three times the diameter of fibres of 1 - 15 denier. |
