<p>PURPOSE: To provide a dry-type transformer winding which is excellent in workability and improved in productivity by a method wherein an element wire peripheral insulating layer formed on the outer periphery of a conductor insulating coating layer is set so as to be thicker in the direction of winding lamination than in the widthwise direction of a winding wire. CONSTITUTION: The outer surface of a conductor 1 is covered with a thin insulating coating layer 2 for the formation of an element wire, and an element wire peripheral insulating layer 3 is formed on it. The peripheral insulating layer 3 is formed of prepreg insulating material. At this point, provided that the thicknesses of the peripheral insulating layer 3 are represented byα1 andα2 , and the crosswise thicknesses of the layer 3 are represented byβ1 , andβ2 , the insulating layer 3 is formed so as to satisfy a formula, (α1≈α2 )>(β1≈β2 ). By this setup, an interlayer insulating paper which is usually interposed between every two winding laminations can be dispensed with, and a resin impregnating operation can be also dispensed with.</p> |
