<p>PURPOSE: To identify each transmission the line at a glance by employing a differently colored armor rod for each line, a plurality of lines or all lines. CONSTITUTION: Two transmission lines 3 are strung across steel towers 1. Armor rods 4 are wound around the right side transmission line and the wire gripping part of suspension insulator while armor rods 5 are wound around the left side transmission line and the wire gripping part of suspension insulator wherein the armor rods 4, 5 are colored differently. The colored armor rod 4, 5 is obtained by coating the surface of armor rod body, comprising an aluminum alloy wire or a copper clad aluminum wire, with colored paint of conductor. Consequently, the charged transmission line can be discriminated from uncharged transmission line at a glance by identifying the color of armor rod wound around the uncharged transmission line.</p> |
