PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the attenuation circuit device of a television signal, which supplies the amplitude value of not more than a limit value that can be scheduled as an output signal amplified at a first gain rate and the amplitude part of not more than the limit value as an output signal amplified at the first gain rate in the amplitude value of more than it and supplies the amplitude part of not less than the limit value as an output signal amplified at a second gain rate selected to be smaller than the first gain rate, with a prescribed current range. SOLUTION: A television signal is applied to a main branch line 1 and an auxiliary branch line 2 by making it into a current signal. The pertinent signal is applied to the emitter of at least one of transistors 3 and 5 through resistances 4 and 6. The bases of the transistors 3 and 5 are biased by DC power sources 7 and 8 against referent potential. The collector current of the transistor 3 of the main branch line 1 essentially shows the output signal. The limit value can be scheduled by the difference of the base potentials of the two transistors 3 and 5 and the second gain rate can be scheduled with the resistance ratio of the two resistances 4 and 6. |
