PURPOSE: To attain high speed position registration of a mobile station in a visitor station. CONSTITUTION: A relay interface circuit 13 in a visitor station 10 sets a station number of a home station 40 to a TEI and a specific number representing a position registration request to an SAPI to transfer an LAPD frame generating a DLCI to a relay station 20. A relay interface circuit 22 of the relay station 20 detects the specific number from the set in the SAPI DLCI of the LAPD frame and detects a station number of the home station from the TEI and identifies an address of a data bus 27 allocated in a relay interface circuit 23 registered corresponding to the station number of the home station by referencing routing information, adds a data bus header to the LAPD frame and sends the resulting frame to the data bus 27. The relay interface circuit 23 eliminates the data bus header from the LAPD frame received from the data bus and restores an original position registration request and transfers the resulting request to the home station 40.
