PURPOSE: To provide a vibration detecting method and apparatus of a rotor which can simplify a structure to detect vibration generated in the rotor during grinding or the like. CONSTITUTION: An acoustic emission generated from a grinding stone G as rotor is detected by an AE sensor 1. A signal detected undergoes an envelope detection with a rectifier circuit and the signal after the envelope detection is subjected to a frequency analysis to detect vibration generated in the grinding stone G. |
