PURPOSE: To enable even a beginner to easily form automatic accompaniment patterns meeting his taste and to make automatic accompaniment. CONSTITUTION: This automatic accompaniment device has a pattern memory 17 for storing pattern data of every basic, fill-in, introduction and ending, an operator 14 for instructing any thereof, an a rhythm selecting means 14, a part selecting means 14, a rhythm number memory means 12 for storing the user pattern data after edition and a mode assigning means 14 for assigning an edition mode or ordinary mode. The user pattern data of the basic or fill-in is formed in the rhythm number memory means 12 by using the operator of an edition mode or the rhythm selecting means and part selecting means. The automatic accompaniment tones are generated respectively in accordance with the user pattern data when the basic or fill-in is assigned in the ordinary mode and in accordance with the pattern data of the rhythm which is the bases for the production of the user pattern data when the introduction or ending is assigned. |
