<p>PURPOSE: To improve a view angle and to obtain a wide view angle by making an upper side electrode of a color filter correspond to a prescribed area of each pixel and making the lower side electrode correspond to another area. CONSTITUTION: Respective pixels DR, DG, DB are divided into two areas respectively, and a counter electrode 11 corresponding to one side area is provided on the lower side of the color filters 13R, 13G, 13B, and the counter electrode 12 corresponding to the other side area is provided on the upper side of the color filters 13R, 13G, 13B. Then, the counter electrodes 12 are provided on one side part of the color filters 13R, 13G, 13B of respective colors along the longitudinal direction of the color filters 13R, 13G, 13B, and these upper side counter electrodes 12 are connected electrically to the lower side counter electrode 11 through light shield films 14 in gap parts between mutual adjacent color filters 13R, 13G, 13B. Further, the color filters 13R, 13G, 13B of respective colors are formed to have the thickness of about 1.2μm-2.0μm.</p> |
