<p>PURPOSE: To recognize the position of a screen touched by an operator on a touch panel, to discriminate whether the part to generate the next action is touched in an operation area displayed in the picture or not at high speed and to reduce the amount of memories to be used for the discrimination. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 105 displays the contents of a picture display memory 103 plotting a switch on a display monitor 101. In this case, when the operator touches the switch of the next action on the display monitor, a touch detection unit 102 detects a touched XY coordinate and transmits that information to the CPU 105. The CPU 105 confirms whether or not a switch number is registered in the arrangement shoown by the value obtained by dividing the XY coordinates in a switch position registering memory 104 by the set precision value of the touch detection unit.</p> |
