PURPOSE: To provide a facsimile equipment which transmits the original information so as to easily and quickly record the received information equivalent to two sheets of original on a single sheet of recording paper of a regular form in a proper way. CONSTITUTION: A facsimile equipment transmits the original information and records the information on the recording paper. When a 2-in-1 processing function is notified from the facsimile equipment to record the information equivalent to two sheets of original on a single sheet of recording paper, the 2-in-1 processing is not applied to the received original information and this information is transmitted as it is. When the facsimile equipment has no 2-in-1 function, the 2-in-1 processing is applied to the original information and this information is transmitted under the control of an addition circuit 14, a vertical/horizontal conversion circuit 15, a coding circuit 16, a decoding/variable power/coding circuit 20, etc. |
