PURPOSE: To obtain the small sized and inexpensive planar dielectric line in which the connection to electronic components such as IC is facilitated and its transmission loss is small. CONSTITUTION: The dielectric line is provided with a dielectric board 23 having 1st and 2nd faces opposite to each other, a 1st slot 24 made between a 1st electrode 21a and a 2nd electrode 21b of the 1st face of the dielectric board 23 with a prescribed width, a 2nd slot 25 made between a 3rd electrode 22a and a 4th electrode 22b of the 2nd face of the dielectric board 23 so as to be opposite to the 1st slot 24 with a width equal to that of the 1st slot 24, and then the dielectric constant and the thickness of the dielectric board 23 are decided so that a plane electromagnetic wave is propagated through a propagation area of the dielectric board 23 provided between the 1st slot 24 and the 2nd slot 25 while being fully reflected on the 1st slot 24 and the 2nd slot 25. |
