PURPOSE: To provide a portable memory card device which is small and easy to use by devising the discharge mechanism of a memory card. CONSTITUTION: Two lines of guide members 6 are provided in parallel at a part corresponding to a card insertion port opened to a device main body. A connector 7 provided with the necessary number of connector pins 7a which are electrically connected to a terminal part provided for the memory card 4 is arranged in the prescribed position of the depth-side. The bending part of a card discharge lever 5 formed in an almost L-shape is joined to the side part of the connector so that it freely turns by a pin 8. The long side 5a of the card discharge lever is closely adhered to the external surface of the guide member 6 in a card inserted state, and a short side 5b is arranged more back than the installation surface of the connector pin 7. When the card discharge lever is turned, the short side 5b is locked with the memory card 4, the locking of the terminal part provided for the memory card and the connector pin is released by the force and the memory card 4 is discharged. |
