PURPOSE: To eliminate a working error, and to shorten processing time by inputting the data of a polygon stored in a data base, and dividing the polygon with vertexes whose number is over a limiting value into the polygons with the vertexes whose number is below the limiting value. CONSTITUTION: To a first graphic processing system 2, an input file 5 as the data base and an intermediate file 6 are connected. To a second graphic processing system 4, the intermediate file 6 is connected as the input file, and also, an output file 7 is connected to the same. The first graphic processing system 2 is provided with a polygon division processing part 3. Then, the first graphic processing system 2 inputs the data of the polygon from the input file 5, and after executing prescribed graphic processing, it outputs the processed data of the polygon to the intermediate file 6. Because the number of the vertexes of the data of the polygon the second graphic processing system 4 can handle is limited, the polygon division processing part 3 divides the polygon with the vertexes whose number is over the limiting value into the plural polygons with the vertexes whose number is below the limiting value. |
