PURPOSE: To realize an optical scanner capable of effectively reducing the staining of a scanning image-formation lens caused by an air flow. CONSTITUTION: Air flow conducting members 4A and 4B for making the air flow generated by the action of a light deflector 3 smoothly flow along a 1st surface and a 2nd surface are integrally provided in a housing in which both of the scanning image-formation lens 4 and the light deflector 3 are housed at both ends in the main scanning corresponding direction of the lens 4 constituted of one strip type lens whose 1st surface is a concave faced to the side of a deflection and reflection surface and having only necessary width in a subscanning corresponding direction. |
