PURPOSE: To prevent the failure of hinges by adopting the constitution to press coated optical fiber housing boxes to a stop plate at the time these coated optical fiber housing boxes are turned around the hinges. CONSTITUTION: The stop plate 10 has a width to allow the housing of the plate into the groove part 1c of a connecting plate 1 and the prescribed number of the coated optical fiber housing boxes (c) are arranged on the end side of an imposing plate 2. The stop plate has such a length at which the angle parts c2 of the turned coated optical fiber housing box come into contact therewith when the coated optical fiber housing boxes (c) are turned around the hinges c1. Soft members 10b, 10c consisting of rubber, soft synthetic resins or thick woven fabrics or non-woven fabrics, etc., are mounted atop the stop plate 10. The angle parts (c2) of the turned coated optical fiber housing boxes (c) come into contact with the stop plate 10 existing in the position orthogonal with the longitudinal direction of the connecting plate 1 even if the prescribed coated optical fiber housing boxes (c) are turned around the hinge c1 for the purpose of housing coated optical fibers or for work for connection changing, etc. Then, such things that the coated optical fiber housing boxes (c) ware supported by the hinges c1 and are hung down are prevented. |
