PURPOSE: To avoid a power of an optical signal from being decreased even in the case of conducting broadcast and to prevent power from being in dispersion depending on wavelength. CONSTITUTION: An optical wavelength multiplex signal is amplified by optical amplifiers 11(1)-11(N). The amplified output is separated into each wavelength by optical wavelength separate sections 12(1)-12(N). Each separate output is subject to distribution processing or path changeover processing by signal distribution/path changeover sections 13(1)-13(N). A waveform of the processing output is recovered by waveform recovery sections 14(1)-14(N). The recovered output is subject to confluent processing or path changeover processing by signal confluent/path changeover sections 15(1)-15(N). The processing output is shared to couplers 16(1)-16(N) depending on the destination. |
