<p>1294556 Laminated data card AVANT Inc 14 Aug 1970 [27 Aug 1969] 39214/70 Heading B5N A process for producing a laminated data card comprises providing a data-bearing sheet between a pair of plastics sheets of the size of the finally produced laminated plastics data card, applying heat-activatable adhesive to at least one of the sheets in a sparse amount to prevent the adhesive from being squeezed out of the laminated card upon the application of laminating heat and pressure, and then applyng sufficient heat and pressure to the sheets to form the laminate. The plastics sheets may be of polyethylene terephthalate and the adhesive may be a phenolic resin or polyethylene.</p> |
