Moulding materials (MM), obtd. by mixing (A) 5-94.5 wt% polyarylene-ether-ketone (PEK), (B) 5-94.5 wt% polyarylene-ether- sulphone (PES), (C) 0.5-30 wt% liq. crystal (LC) polymer with a transition pt. from the LC phase to the melt (Tk) at not above 350 deg C, (D) 0-60 wt% fibrous and/or particulate filler(s) and (E) 0-40 wt% additives and/or processing aids, at temps. of at least 350 deg C. Also claimed are (i) the above process for the prodn. of (MM) and (ii) mouldings, film or fibres contg. (MM).
