Halogen lamp for building installations

A halogen lamp has a head (10) held between two metal conductors (18). These are plates separated by a slit (20) with recesses (22) at one end for the lamp head. The head has a cup-shaped housing with a cap. The rims of the recesses in the plates are clamped between this cup and a flange of the housing. The plates are joined by a bridge (56) at the other end from the lamp and this has a rib (60) which fits in the slit. There is a clamp (62) for the power cable, whose conductors(66) go to separate plates. At this end, the plates are flat and can be bolted to furniture items.
