FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston displacement machines; internal combustion engines, compressors and other machines. SUBSTANCE: power no-connecting rod mechanism of known design has additional spool type distributing device whose shaft is coupled with crank pin by means of carrier. Piston machine operates as follows: working medium is pressure-fed through open slot of hollow shaft of spool along pipeline into working space between cylinder wall and piston, making the piston move to center. Slider, coupled with pistons, acts onto pin which is already set into motion under action of pistons of other pair of cylinders. These motions, being added up, cause rotation of disk and output shaft. During piston stroke, pin turns spool shaft through 180 degrees by means of carrier, pipeline gets overlapped. Other pipeline opens and piston is exposed to pressure of working medium passing along pipeline making slider move backwards following continuous movement of pin over circumference. Other pair of cylinders operates in the similar manner, but with 90 degrees shift to provide passing over dead centers. EFFECT: reduced loads, improved operating conditions of mechanism when used on multicylinder engine owing to synchronization of cylinder operation. |
