METHOD OF PRODUCING BROWN COAL BRIQUETS WITH REDUCED RELEASE OF SULFUR DIOXIDE

FIELD: brown coal fuel production. SUBSTANCE: method permits full quantity of sulfur in brown coal to be bound without any negative effect on the briquets' fabrication. It is accomplished by mixing brown coal with a suspension of sulfur- binding calcium additives followed by incorporation into the mixture of a combustible substance inert in respect to binding of sulfur, preferably ground brown coal coke. EFFECT: achieved reduced quantity of sulfur dioxide released on burning.
