FIELD: medicine, endocrinology; applicable in diagnosis of autoimmune ophthalmopathy, determination of degree of activity of this immuno-dependent process in tissues of eye socket, degree of affection of tissue of lacrimal gland, and prognostication of possible recurrences of autoimmune ophthalmopathy and control for efficiency of conducted immunosuppressive therapy. SUBSTANCE: the drawbacks of the known methods are their high cost due to determination of a large number of parameters and low accuracy. The invention offers a method for diagnosis of autoimmune opthalmopathy by performance of immunological investigations. In this case, secretion of lacrimal glands is investigated, and high levels of immunoglobins are indicative of the presence of immunologically active form of ophthalmopathy. EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnosis and low cost. |
